Baitong Thai & Sushi Restaurant

I wasn’t expecting to find such solid Thai food at a beach strip mall, but Baitong Thai & Sushi turned out to be a total gem. The place is tucked into a quiet plaza off A1A, and from the outside, it doesn’t scream “hidden culinary treasure” but trust me, the food tells a different story. We started with the Spicy Tuna Nachos, which were way better than I expected crispy wonton chips, creamy avocado, and just the right kick from the tuna. It was one of those apps where you keep telling yourself, “Okay, just one more...” For mains, I went with the Crispy Duck Pad Thai a little indulgent, a little spicy, and completely delicious. My friend had the Green Curry, which was rich and aromatic without being too heavy. Both dishes came out hot, perfectly portioned, and beautifully balanced in flavor. And yes, they also do sushi and do it well. We shared the Lobster Roll, which was tempura-fried and packed with flavor. It wasn’t just filler rice either—you could actually taste the lobster. The vibe inside is laid-back but clean and cozy. Service was friendly and fast, the kind where the staff seems genuinely happy you’re there. Overall, Baitong really hit the spot. Great food, good portions, fair prices—and it’s the kind of place I’d absolutely come back to after a day at the beach. Rating: 4.5/5 – Definitely worth a visit.

Visiting for the week and was craving sushi for my birthday! So happy I found Baitong. The staff was amazing and kind. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We had salad, gyoza, 3 sushi rolls, tempura ice cream, and tempura cheesecake, YUM! They even gave me the cheesecake on the house with a candle and song for my birthday, so sweet! Will definitely be back next time I’m in town, THANK YOU!

Vacationing here and thought we'd switch it up and try this Thai restaurant. I had the red curry and wonton soup. Delicious food, dine in or carry out. Looks like locals like this place, busy carryout going on. Great find and on our list for next visit.

Since we were walking, we had to wait little bit. It isn't a real large place. Calling for reservations is a good idea. The food was above and beyond good. My husband had the duck, which was nice and crisp but moist inside. I had cashew chicken on rice. Had a choice of heat level. Price even to quality. Staff great. Cleanly.

Very fresh, delicious food with efficient and friendly service. Very clean. My Thai Drunken Noodle dish contained a variety of fresh vegetables — including plenty of Thai basil — and in a tasty sauce with the perfect amount of spice for me. (Which isn’t a lot - I’d ordered a 2.) The tofu was cooked exactly as I like it — cubes of chewy, flavorful goodness. The tofu had been pressed and was firm, which I prefer to the large triangles of fried silken tofu many restaurants offer. My husband’s sushi was clean and fresh, served with ample amounts of pickled ginger and wasabi.

Wow! My husband and I visited here while on vacation and we liked it so much we went back again!! We had the lobster roll, the tempura grouper, and the all meat basil sauce dish with vegetables. Everything they serve is to die for!! The service is wonderful and the employees are super nice! Would recommend this place 100%!!!!

The restaurant is very clean, and nicely decorated. The menu is an iPad, with a description and photo of each item. The service is very good, professional, yet friendly. But what it is really about is the food. It is excellent. It is served hot from the kitchen. Several dishes, you pick the spice level 1 thru 5. I would not hesitate to return.

Fantastic! Our server, Veronica, was as sweet as can be and very helpful. I got the Big Mama Pad Thai, which has fried lobster - the lobster was so so delicious! My wife and and really enjoyed our dinner here while on our honeymoon.
